JUNO 120 L is a genuine natural product. The stove is encased in either natural stone Porto or soapstone. The cream-coloured natural stone Porto with its simple structure or its brother with timelessly elegant soapstone cut a slender figure despite the weight of the stone slabs.
As a master of heat storage, JUNO 120 L continues to give off heat even hours after the fire has gone out. The finely polished soapstone or natural stone slabs remain warm for up to 15 hours. In addition to its storage qualities, JUNO 120 L is also a master of design.
JUNO 120 L is available with or without side window, 360° rotating console and various handle and door variants.
There are three types of air regulation available: manual air regulation, or the automatic burn-off controls CleverAIR™ and ElectronicAIR™. These systems supply the fire with the correct air mixture fully automatically during each firing phase.
Its big brother, the JUNO 166 L, impresses with even more storage capacity and is the centrepiece of any room.
Which air control system is best for my wood stove – manual, CleverAIR™ or ElectronicAIR™?
Attika wood stoves offer three types of air control, depending on the model: manual, CleverAIR™ or ElectronicAIR™. The most suitable option depends on the wood stove, the chimney, the existing flue system and the level of ease of use you require.
With manual air control, you regulate the air supply yourself. This option may be suitable depending on the chimney and draught conditions, for example if the wood stove is connected to a large-diameter flue tube and the air supply needs to remain open for longer.
CleverAIR™ automatically regulates the air supply during combustion – without the need for electricity. You simply load dry wood and light the fire. CleverAIR™ automatically supplies the fire with the correct amount of primary, secondary and tertiary air during each firing phase. This reduces the risk of operating errors, promotes clean combustion, low emission levels and efficient use of the firewood.
ElectronicAIR™ is Attika’s electronic burn-off control system. It measures the combustion temperature and automatically regulates the air supply via an electronic control unit. This promotes controlled combustion and consistently low emission levels of fine dust and CO.
An Attika dealer can advise you on which air control system is best suited to your wood stove, your flue system and your requirements.
What distances do I need to observe when installing a wood stove?
The minimum clearances between a wood stove and combustible materials depend on the stove model, its version and its position in the room. The specifications in the installation manual, as well as local fire safety and building regulations, are decisive.
You will find the minimum clearances from walls, furniture, combustible building components and other materials specified by the manufacturer in the installation manual for your wood stove. These clearances must be observed during planning and installation.
The floor in front of and beneath the wood stove must also be protected if it is made of combustible material. A base plate or underlay made of non-combustible material is often used for this purpose.
In addition, different building regulations and fire safety regulations apply depending on the country, region or local authority. You should therefore clarify the requirements with the relevant specialist (chimney sweep/fire safety authority) before installation.
