The design doesn't stop with the stove. Matching flue tubes in stove colour complete the design of your fireplace. All Attika wood and gas stoves are available with a matching flue tube in stove colour.

Attika fireplaces are known for their soot-free fire viewing panels and their uniquely beautiful view of the flames. The secret behind this quality advantage is our understanding of firebox glazing as a holistic concept.

In line with this approach, we carry out extensive test series for each individual fire box to determine the mix of glass that equally promotes clean combustion, a clear fire view and balanced heat output. Depending on the model, double glazing and special infrared coating are used. We uncompromisingly use only the most efficient glass ceramic panes available on the market.

An infrared coated glass ceramic pane reflects seven times more thermal radiation back into the firebox than conventional firebox glasses. The resulting increase in combustion temperature means greater energy efficiency, less wood consumption, top emission values, cleaner panes and beautiful flames.

Double glazing reduces thermal radiation to the outside and prevents the living space from overheating in modern insulated low-energy and passive houses. A constantly pleasant living room temperature is guaranteed thanks to moderate radiant heat, even with large fire viewing panels.

Each version of our stoves and fireplace inserts has its own perfect glass mix. Depending on the model, this consists of double glazing, infrared coating or both.

Really good design and genuine user-friendliness are often only evident in the inconspicuous details that make everyday tasks easier - for example the Self-Locking System^© developed by our designers in Switzerland.

Thanks to this system, the firebox door can be opened very easily in an ergonomic movement with a gentle pull. When it is released, it automatically and quietly falls back into the lock and engages reliably. For you, this means maximum convenience with maximum safety.

Almost all our stoves are equipped with the practical Self-Locking System^©.

We have been passionately developing premium quality fireplaces for you since 1981. Attika fireplaces are known for their perfect finish and long service life. To guarantee this, we only use selected, high-quality materials and raw materials. This includes using thicker and therefore more stable steel plates than is usual in the industry.

We are also at the forefront when it comes to firing technology: Not only in terms of the environment, but also with an aesthetic view of the flames without sooty discs. No product leaves our factory without undergoing meticulous production and quality controls.

Quality, high-quality materials, state-of-the-art technology, expert craftsmanship and great attention to detail characterise Attika fireplaces. They all combine form, material and functions as perfectly and timelessly as possible.

You load dry wood and light the fire. CleverAIR™ automatically regulates the air supply, providing the fire with the correct amount of primary, secondary and tertiary air during each firing phase. The automatic air control system reduces the risk of operating errors that can occur with manual air regulation. This promotes clean combustion and low emissions. At the same time, the automatic control ensures efficient use of the firewood and can help to reduce wood consumption.

This is made possible by a heat-sensitive thermobimetal in the CleverAIR™ control unit. Its natural bending movement causes the round air control plate to move. Thermobimetal technology has also proven itself in other applications (e.g. kettles). When the fire is managed correctly, it is fault-free and maintenance-free, and operates without electricity.

ElectronicAIR™ is an automatic burn-off control. As the name suggests, intelligent electronics control the air supply. The control system eliminates the need for manual adjustment of an air slide and automatically supplies the fire with the correct air mixture during every firing phase.

All you have to do is add dry wood and light it – the technology takes care of the rest. The electronic control unit measures the combustion temperature and reacts immediately: if there are any changes, it sends a signal to the motor, which opens or closes the air supply. The result of this electronic burn-off control is permanently low emission values for fine dust and CO.

Operating errors can be ruled out thanks to ElectronicAIR™. Your wood consumption is reduced and your comfort increased. Particularly practical: the accompanying app allows you to see at any time which firing phase the fire is in – including a notification when it is the ideal time to add more wood.

Stoves with soapstone or natural stone Porto cladding bring a cosy atmosphere to any room and are absolutely timeless. The elegant natural stone Porto or elegantly polished soapstone harmonises with any style - whether with the modern or classic design of stoves. The dynamic structure of the stone blends in well with its surroundings and is equally at home in a chalet or new build.

As a natural product, each version is unique! The colouring and textural effect is slightly different for every stove. The stone also has an exciting property: it is a heat accumulator. It absorbs the heat from the fire and then releases it into the room - similar to a heat-storage module^© - once the fire has gone out.

Attika stoves offer a maximum fascinating fire view. This can be easily extended by up to 360° on most models thanks to the rotating console. This allows you to enjoy the fire from any direction in your living room.

Each of our rotating consoles is precisely matched to its corresponding stove. Thanks to high-quality roller or ball bearings, they run smoothly and almost silently.

For our stoves with rotating consoles, we have developed a special flue pipe set with swivel connectors to ensure that the 360° swivelling is possible at every connection.

The Attika heat-storage module^© is an additional energy-saving option for a large number of our stoves. It has the natural property of being able to absorb heat and retain it over a certain period of time (heat accumulator). The modules therefore stay nice and warm even when the fire has already gone out.

The result: you enjoy healthy radiant heat for hours. This dosed heat output from a stove is useful in well-insulated buildings, for example (Minergie house, low-energy house).

Incidentally, the BANDO, CARO 120, Q-TEE 2 C soapstone and JUNO L storage stoves, which are made entirely of soapstone, or the VISIO 2 ELEMENT and VISIO 3 ELEMENT stoves, which are manufactured with element modules, have maximum storage capacity. Each of these storage stoves can release the energy transferred from the fire to the stone into the living space for up to 15 hours as mild radiant heat.

So that you can enjoy the play of fire through the glass ceramic without any clouding, our ingenious window rinsing system directs preheated combustion air via the firebox into the combustion chamber, where it flushes the glass ceramic pane from the inside as a constant draught and keeps it largely soot-free.

Window rinsing is standard in every Attika stove and fireplace insert and is one of the many secrets of why our fireplaces burn visibly more beautifully.

The side bench, finished in stove colour, is available in different widths depending on the model. This creates a calm, harmonious overall look without any additional changes in material or colour.

It is also practical: the side bench can be used to store firewood or serve as a seat or bench.

The side bench is available for the Attika wood stoves 600 ART, MAX 600, NEXO series, Q-TEE 2 and VIVA L series in wood, bioethanol or gas versions.

As part of Attika’s customized-concept, the stove can be tailored even more closely to your living space, your interior design style and your personal preferences. Using the AR function in the configurator, you can view the stove with the side bench directly in your own home and see how it looks in your room.

The SCHOTT ROBAX® fire viewing panels in our stoves are particularly safe thanks to their extremely low thermal expansion. They can be exposed to enormous temperatures of up to 760 °C for short periods and can withstand considerable heat and cold shocks.

It is these exceptional properties and the extremely long service life that enable SCHOTT ROBAX® to guarantee optimum protection against flying sparks and real fire enjoyment in Attika stoves.

Fire viewing panels - ENGINEERED IN GERMANY.

The AIR system supplies controlled outside air to the combustion process. Thanks to the combustion of outside air, the overall efficiency is increased and your wood stove or wood fireplace burns room air independent. This means that the stove does not interfere with the air circulation and ventilation systems in the same room. The same applies vice versa. 

Depending on the model and structural conditions, the AIR system's fresh air supply is fed in via an external wall behind the stove or directly through the floor. With the specially developed AIR installation set, this connection can be realised in a visually very discreet and appropriate way.

Attika wood stoves are developed and tested until they meet the highest standards. An important feature in these tests is room air independence. This means that it draws its combustion air from outside. This means that the stove does not interfere with the air circulation and ventilation systems in the same room. The same applies vice versa. This is particularly practical for Minergie and low-energy houses. The German Institute for Building Technology certifies precisely this. We can therefore proudly say that most of our wood stoves are certified.
