VIVA 100 L BIO

Fully customisable – bioethanol fire without a fireplace connection

The VIVA 100 L BIO is the smallest model in the VIVA L range, bringing the series’ characteristic rounded design language into the living space in a compact form. Its harmonious design appears light and elegant, blending effortlessly into both modern and classic interiors. The generous, curved glass panel puts the flames centre stage and creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. As there is no need for a fireplace connection, the bioethanol stove (often also referred to as an ethanol fireplace) can be placed anywhere without structural alterations.

Operation is intuitive via the Attika BIO App. Flame height, «Eco wave» and timer can be precisely adjusted to suit the desired mood. Alternatively, the classic remote control allows direct control of these functions. Depending on the desired effect, the fire box can be fitted with a pure view of the flames, ceramic logs or amber glass stones with black stones granules.

The VIVA L BIO also offers flexibility in terms of design. Modern paint finishes, a variety of handles and the choice between a steel door or a glass door for the firebox allow for a design that blends harmoniously into any living space. Optionally, the stove can be fitted with side windows. These expand the fire view and make the rounded design appear even lighter.

The VIVA L series has been honoured with the prestigious Red Dot Design Award.

For bioethanol, there are further models to choose from in the VIVA L stove series: VIVA 120 L BIO, VIVA 140 L BIO and VIVA 160 L BIO.

Wood enthusiasts can choose between VIVA 100 L, VIVA 120 L, VIVA 140 L and VIVA 160 L. The same models – VIVA 100 L GAS, VIVA 120 L GAS, VIVA 140 L GAS and VIVA 160 L GAS – are also available in gas versions.

Note for Switzerland:
For use without a chimney in Switzerland, the appliances are designed for a maximum output of 2 kW. In accordance with this requirement, the «Eco wave» function is not available for appliances in Switzerland.The images shown show flame heights that cannot be fully achieved in Switzerland.

Can I also control the Bioethanol fireplace via an app?

Yes, certain bioethanol stoves can be controlled via an app. These include the Attika bioethanol stoves CARO BIO, NEXO BIO and VIVA L BIO, as well as the Denver F6 model.

Do bioethanol fireplaces need a chimney?

Bioethanol fireplaces produce neither smoke, fine dust nor ash. Therefore, operation without a chimney is generally possible. However, different regulations may apply depending on the country.

Note for Switzerland:
In Switzerland, bioethanol fireplaces are designed for operation at up to 2 kW. Bioethanol fireplaces with a heat output of more than 2 kW must not be operated without a fireplace connection.

Our bioethanol stoves for Switzerland are designed to be operated without a chimney.

We recommend that you familiarise yourself with local building regulations before installation and, if necessary, consult your installer

How do you clean a bioethanol fireplace?

A Bioethanol fireplace should only be cleaned once it has cooled down completely. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaning agents.

As Bioethanol burns almost residue-free, it generally produces neither smoke nor ash. However, depending on air currents, the flame may be disrupted, which can occasionally lead to soot build-up. This can be removed with a damp cloth.

Gently wipe down the surfaces and carefully remove any dirt from the burner area.
