Operation is intuitive via the Attika BIO App. Flame height, «Eco wave» and timer can be precisely adjusted to suit the desired room ambience. Alternatively, the classic remote control allows direct control of these functions. Depending on the desired effect, the fire box can be fitted with a pure view of the flames, ceramic logs or amber glass stones with black stones granules.

Numerous design options are available for the visual styling. Thanks to the customized-concept, paint colours, door handles and the choice between a steel door or a glass door for the firebox can be individually combined – directly in the online configurator. Side windows can be added as an option, which enhance the view of the flames and make the round design appear even lighter. A side bench is also available, offering a practical storage surface.

The VIVA L series has been honoured with the prestigious Red Dot Design Award.

For bioethanol, further models are available in the VIVA L stove series: VIVA 100 L BIO, VIVA 140 L BIO and VIVA 160 L BIO.

Wood enthusiasts can choose between VIVA 100 L, VIVA 120 L, VIVA 140 L and VIVA 160 L. The same models – VIVA 100 L GAS, VIVA 120 L GAS, VIVA 140 L GAS and VIVA 160 L GAS – are also available in gas versions.

Note for Switzerland:
For use without a chimney in Switzerland, the appliances are designed for a maximum output of 2 kW. In accordance with this requirement, the «Eco wave» function is not available for appliances in Switzerland.The images shown show flame heights that cannot be fully achieved in Switzerland.

Is a Bioethanol fireplace safe?

Yes, a Bioethanol fireplace is safe when used correctly in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Safety also depends on the type of burner.

Automatic burners offer additional safety features. They are not filled by hand and cannot be refilled whilst the burner is still too hot. With manual burners, safe operation is more the responsibility of the user. It is therefore essential to follow the user manual carefully.

Do bioethanol fireplaces produce odours or smoke?

Bioethanol burns almost residue-free, although this depends heavily on the quality and purity of the fuel.

For use in a bioethanol fireplace, we recommend Decoflame fuel with an alcohol content of 96.5%–97.5%.

As CO₂ is produced during combustion, please always follow the instructions on room ventilation in the user manual.

What fuel is used in a bioethanol fireplace?

A bioethanol fireplace must be fuelled with high-quality Bioethanol. This helps to prevent malfunctions and ensures reliable operation.

Bioethanol burns almost residue-free, leaving no smoke, fine dust or ash. This makes cleaning the fireplace easier. Regular checks by qualified personnel are not required.
