With its striking height, the VIVA 160 L BIO – the tallest model in the VIVA L series – brings an elegant vertical presence to the room. Its timeless rounded shape appears light and modern, whilst the generous, curved glass panel impressively showcases the tranquil Bioethanol fire. This creates a cosy atmosphere in the living area that invites you to linger. As no fireplace connection is required, the bioethanol stove can be positioned almost anywhere in the room.

Operation is intuitive via the Attika BIO App. Flame height, «Eco wave» and timer can be precisely adjusted to suit the desired mood. Alternatively, a classic remote control is available. When designing the fire box, you can choose between a pure view of the flames, ceramic logs or decorative amber glass stones with black stones granules.

The VIVA 160 L BIO also offers numerous design options. The versatile customized-concept includes a range of paint finishes, modern door handles and the choice between a steel door and a glass door for the firebox. Side windows can be added on request, allowing the fire to be viewed from additional angles and further emphasising the stove’s rounded form. A side bench is also available, providing a practical storage surface and a cosy addition to the area around the stove.

The VIVA L series has been honoured with the prestigious Red Dot Design Award.

For bioethanol, further models are available in the VIVA L stove series: VIVA 100 L BIO, VIVA 120 L BIO and VIVA 140 L BIO.

Wood enthusiasts can choose between VIVA 100 L, VIVA 120 L, VIVA 140 L and VIVA 160 L. The same models – VIVA 100 L GAS, VIVA 120 L GAS, VIVA 140 L GAS and VIVA 160 L GAS – are also available in gas versions.

For use without a chimney in Switzerland, the appliances are designed for a maximum output of 2 kW. In accordance with this requirement, the «Eco wave» function is not available for appliances in Switzerland.The images shown show flame heights that cannot be fully achieved in Switzerland.

Whether a Bioethanol fireplace requires electricity depends on the type of burner. Manual Bioethanol fireplaces do not require electricity, whereas automatic models do.

Manual Bioethanol fireplaces are filled, lit and extinguished by hand. They can be operated without a power source.

Automatic Bioethanol fireplaces require a power connection, as the ignition, sensors and control systems are electrically operated.

Does a bioethanol stove get hot, and what safety distances do I need to maintain?

Yes, a bioethanol stove becomes hot during use. Do not touch the glass panels or the top cover plates whilst the stove is in use or immediately afterwards.

The required safety distances depend on the model and the installation situation. Always maintain the minimum distances from flammable materials. You will find the exact details regarding safety distances in the user manual for the relevant bioethanol stove.

How do you operate a bioethanol fireplace?

How to operate a Bioethanol fireplace depends on the type of Burner. The key factor is whether the fireplace is fitted with a manual or automatic Bioethanol Burner.

A manual Burner is operated by hand. It is filled using a funnel, lit with a firelighter and extinguished by smothering the flame. An automatic burner is filled using a pump. Depending on the model, it is controlled using a remote control, via the control panel on the unit, or via an app.
