The VIVA 140 L BIO impresses with its sleek form and the characteristic rounded silhouette of the VIVA L series. With a height of 140 cm, this bioethanol stove exudes elegance and makes a striking statement in any living space. The generous, curved glass panel showcases the view of the flames in all their splendour and creates a pleasant, cosy atmosphere in the room. As no fireplace connection is required, the bioethanol stove can be positioned practically anywhere.

Operating is intuitive via the Attika BIO App. Flame height, «Eco wave» and timer can be precisely adjusted to suit the desired atmosphere. Alternatively, a classic remote control is available. For the fire box, options include a pure view of the flames, ceramic logs or decorative amber glass stones with black stones granules.

Visually, too, the VIVA 140 L BIO allows for individual customisation. The versatile customized-concept includes various paint finishes, modern handles and the choice between a steel door or a glass door for the firebox. Side windows can be added on request, allowing the fire to be viewed from additional angles and visually emphasising the stove’s rounded form. A side bench is also available, providing a practical storage surface and adding a cosy touch.

The VIVA L series has been honoured with the prestigious Red Dot Design Award.

For bioethanol, further models are available in the VIVA L stove series: VIVA 100 L BIO, VIVA 120 L BIO and VIVA 160 L BIO.

Wood enthusiasts can choose between VIVA 100 L, VIVA 120 L, VIVA 140 L and VIVA 160 L. The same models – VIVA 100 L GAS, VIVA 120 L GAS, VIVA 140 L GAS and VIVA 160 L GAS – are also available in gas versions.

Note for Switzerland:
For use without a chimney in Switzerland, the appliances are designed for a maximum output of 2 kW. In accordance with this requirement, the «Eco wave» function is not available for appliances in Switzerland.The images shown show flame heights that cannot be fully achieved in Switzerland.

How do you operate a bioethanol fireplace?

How to operate a Bioethanol fireplace depends on the type of Burner. The key factor is whether the fireplace is fitted with a manual or automatic Bioethanol Burner.

A manual Burner is operated by hand. It is filled using a funnel, lit with a firelighter and extinguished by smothering the flame. An automatic burner is filled using a pump. Depending on the model, it is controlled using a remote control, via the control panel on the unit, or via an app.

How do you clean a bioethanol fireplace?

A Bioethanol fireplace should only be cleaned once it has cooled down completely. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaning agents.

As Bioethanol burns almost residue-free, it generally produces neither smoke nor ash. However, depending on air currents, the flame may be disrupted, which can occasionally lead to soot build-up. This can be removed with a damp cloth.

Gently wipe down the surfaces and carefully remove any dirt from the burner area.

Does a bioethanol stove get hot, and what safety distances do I need to maintain?

Yes, a bioethanol stove becomes hot during use. Do not touch the glass panels or the top cover plates whilst the stove is in use or immediately afterwards.

The required safety distances depend on the model and the installation situation. Always maintain the minimum distances from flammable materials. You will find the exact details regarding safety distances in the user manual for the relevant bioethanol stove.
